3D PRINTERS  / Desktop

FDM Technology works with specialized 3D printers and production-grade thermoplastics to build strong, durable and dimensionally stable parts with the best accuracy and repeatability of any 3D printing technology.

CFF (Continuous Fiber Fabrication) 3D Printers

Composite 3D printing produces exceptionally strong and accurate functional parts using engineered plastic materials that are reinforced with fiber. In the printing process, Nylon fiber is extruded from the print head. A continuous strand of carbon fiber, Kevlar or fiberglass is extruded alongside the Nylon, forming parts with unparalleled strength, stiffness and durability. With Onyx material, chopped carbon fiber is blended into the Nylon filament.

SLA (Stereolithography) 3D Printers

SLA technology is extremely versatile and it can be used when precision is the overall priority and where form, fit and assembly are critical. The tolerances on an SLA part are typically less than .05 mm, and this technology offers the smoothest surface finish of any additive manufacturing process.

DLP (Digital Light Processing) 3D Printers

DLP (Digital Light Processing) is a similar process to stereolithography in that it is a 3D printing process that works with photopolymers. This process offers quick prototyping capabilities with exceptional quality, good accuracy and nice surface finish, using DLP projector light as a source for curing.

The Shuffle is a resin based machine that uses an LCD array to quickly illuminate an entire print layer simultaneously. This is a faster process than those that use lasers, which must laboriously traverse all solid portions of each print layer.

Laser Sintering, also known as Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), is among the most versatile and frequently used 3D printing technologies: you can find laser-sintered parts in airplanes, wearables, machine components and production tools.
